At the Coppice we are happy to welcome you and your pets to stay in one of our three pet friendly superior double-bedded rooms. 
If possible we like you to bring your pets bed or blanket to help them settle into their new surroundings. We do make a small charge of £5.00 per night and with other guests in mind we ask you not to take your pet into the public areas of our Guesthouse.  If you would like anything refrigerating, please pack it in a plain plastic bag and we will look after it during your stay. We do request that your pet is not left unattended in a strange room on its own.   We do have a short list of pet friendly places to eat when you are out with your pet and we will give you a local map with areas and pathways for doggy walks.

The house was built around 1880 using Westmorland Slate quarried from local mines. Although the building is over 100 years old the interior has been updated to offer accommodation which is pleasant and tasteful and includes en-suite bedrooms with tea/coffee making facilities, televisions, clock radios and hairdryers.   We do have a residential license therefore you may enjoy a drink in our comfortable lounge before going out in the evening.
